Sacred Heart School is a Pre-K to 8th grade Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT. Sacred Heart School is a Catholic elementary school, pre-K through eighth grade and has been in existence for 120 years. A parish school sponsored by Sacred Heart in New Britain, CT, it is open to all children regardless of their religion, creed, race or gender.

With class sizes around 15 students, teachers have the opportunity to differentiate instruction according to the student’s abilities while challenging the gifted and providing remedial assistance to those who have not yet grasped certain concepts. IOWA test scores show that SHS students are on average two years above their grade level and are evidence of the success of our academic program.
