Sacred Heart School is a Catholic elementary school, pre-K through eighth grade and has been in existence for over 120 years.  A parish school sponsored by Sacred Heart in New Britain, CT, it is open to all children regardless of their religion, creed, race or gender.

Located in central Connecticut and the city of New Britain, this inner-city school is marked by a strong pride in the institution and its rich history.  Its traditions of excellence and service speak highly of the need to continue the quality and effectiveness of what it does.  The many sacrifices made by the parents to provide a sound moral and academic foundation for their children is quite evident and exemplary.

Accredited by the NEASC (New England Association of Schools & Colleges) and an approved and viable school in the Archdiocese of Hartford, CT, (now the sole provider of Catholic education in New Britain) Sacred Heart has offered a sound and well-rounded foundation to over five thousand (5,000) graduates who have passed through its doors and have gone on to pursue high school, graduate and post-graduate educations.
